Zhujiang Dock is located in Xiachetou ferry which is 22 kilometers away from the southeast Guilin. It covers 48200 square meters land and 100000 square meters water area. The dock is 400 meters long. With 9 berths, it can admit 80 cruise boats tie up at the same time and receive 2 million visitors per year. It also has a lot of supporting facilities such as comprehensive waiting building, parking lot, cruise boats control center, material warehouse, icehouse, staff canteen and staff resting place. The total building area of the dock is 6376 square meters. Now, it is developing to the navigational fair base.

Approved by No.37 (1982) document of Tourism Administration of China, The dock was invested 1 million yuan by the National Tourism Administration of China and established in 1982. It was completed in 1985. At that time, the construction scale is 5 berths and the building area is1800 square meters. In 1994, based on the development of the tourism, Guilin Wuzhou Tourism Corporation Limited invested 2 million yuan to build a waiting building covered 1500 square meters.

As more and more people came to visit Li Rive, the former dock was over crowded and could not adapt to the need of the flood period. In 1997, Guilin Li River Country Entertainment Corporation Limited invested 2 million yuan to enlarge the former waiting building to 3106 square meters and renovated the bank environment. In 2001, Guilin Tourism Corporation Limited raised 20.9988 million yuan by itself and bought Guilin Zhujiang dock and its practical assets of Guilin Wuzhou Tourism Corporation Limited and Li River Country Entertainment Corporation Limited, including houses, dock, appliances and conveyances. In 2002, Guilin Tourism Corporation Limited invested 340 thousand yuan to dredge up the upriver reach of the dock and add 4 berths. By then, the total berth numbers increased to 8.
