Yangdi Village is located on the west bank of Li River, about 46km from Guilin. Behind the village lies a hill consisting two peaks, which look like two hoofs (yang ti in Chinese pinyin) of a sheep hanging upside down----hence the name Yangdi Village which is alike in sound with yangti.The elegant mountains, winding water, delicate beach, striking waterfall, densely green bamboos and dotted cottages form a beautiful landscape painting. These beatiful sights make people feel comfortable, peaceful and harmonious. Yangdi Village is also the starting point of the Li River Cruise in the dry season when the river is quite low.
